A happy moment before the crash, Justine and father Vernon. Photo by Allison.
Thanks, all, for your kind response to the last blog. Many understandably thought I was referring to our current storm. It’s true enough. But there are many storms.
Vernon is still in his coma. We remain hopeful. Did you know there is a blog dedicated to his progress? The most recent entry is by our daughter Allison, Vernon’s wife. It’s about today’s first hospital visit by their daughter, four-year-old Justine. I’ll supply the link here.
I think you’ll find it meaningful, and absolutely precious.
That’s how we feel about all these souls around us.
Thanks for you.

Hyatt, Anne, Alison and family:
Thank you to each of you who have allowed us into a journey….What can our words convey only that because of our faith in an ever loving God who knows all, we can place our trust in Him. Love for each of you comes with this.
Today our family meets together from across the globe, Adam and family from Atlanta, Sonya from Hawaii and two kids, Natasha and family of three; at the Sunshine Coast. It’s wet but our hearts embrace all the diversity. a treasured week together. We pray like you do for safety and loving faces to share.
In the midst of all this intensity….Sylvia and I pray for Vernon and the Journey of healing ahead.
Your gift of your recent presence and time spent is a deep treasure for my heart.
