I was recently sent a web link from Biola University displaying their collection of my paintings. It’s been a slow accumulation over the years and I’d lost track of the quantity. There are 16! I’m included in their “Special Collections” category. What an honor.
The follow is the array. Ignore the scale, some shown here seem small when in reality they’re very large, and vice versa. Enjoy the overview, and notes the dates they were painted, often early in my painting career.
Ripe for Harvest, 72×192, 2003
China Man, 1999, Nepal Grandma, 1999, Snack Seller, 2003, each 60×27
Sugar Cane Girl, 42×55, Rhythm Workers, 30×40, Two New Writers, 37×55, all 2003
Oaxaca Queen, 60×27, 1999, Happy Mother, 60×27, 2003
Feeding the Three-thousand, 68×300, 2004
The Last Supper with Twelve Tribes, 67×240, 2000
Thanks for reading. If you’re ever at Biola University in La Mirada, California, you’ll find the art scattered around. (And maybe more than these by the time you get there.)
If you’re interested in the Biola website page that features all this, along with their brief description of me, it’s here.
Always grateful.
Happy Thanksgiving.
