Dear Friends,

I am writing to tell you about the most positive experience we recently had with Hyatt Moore. In preparing for our annual World Mission Conference, we came across Hyatt’s painting, “The Last Supper with 12 Tribes,” and were so inspired by it, we purchased the 20’ version on canvas and had it mounted in our church. The painting served as the centerpiece for the 5-day conference and will stand as a lasting reminder of God’s call upon our congregation to be a witness to every tribe and tongue across the globe.

We were also blessed to welcome Hyatt as one of our conference guests. Following an international covered dish supper, Hyatt spoke about his own conversion to Christ, his life of ministry with Wycliffe, the story behind the painting, and the biblical themes that inspired it. We concluded the evening by celebrating the Lord’s Supper.

In the hour that he spoke, Hyatt constantly held the attention of the gathered crowd. His humor, depth, and witness to the Lord were effective and relevant. Not only during that evening, but also in the surrounding events, Hyatt was pleasant and engaging. In the months leading up to the conference, he was professional and easy to work with.

I recommend Hyatt to you for two reasons. First, his passion for the Lord is evident and his witness is compelling. Second, his painting and the message it conveys is remarkable. I am thrilled to think that every time we look at that magnificent mural hanging prominently in our Fellowship Hall, we will be reminded of the calling God as placed on our church to be his witness in the world.

Based on our experience, I am pleased to recommend Hyatt. Do not hesitate to contact me if you would like to speak further.

Yours for the Kingdom,
Daniel L. Smoak
